I am very disappointed with this appliance. I have had it repaired once and all my dairy products get moldy long before the expiration date, the temperature doesn't keep dairy products cold enough, I would not recommend GE to anyone.

The door alarm and seal is killing me!

I usually really like GE products but this model I would not purchase again for 3 reason. First, in taking off the plastic covering after it was delivered the plastic would not come out of all the edges. 2. Shelves don't have a lot of adjustment levels to allow shelves to fit taller objects like a gallon of milk. 3. Very little ice - seems like ice runs out after needing a couple cups full

I gave it 4 stars because the ice maker is slower than expected and doesn't produce enough ice to meet our needs, so we often supplement with ice trays. Other than that, we are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend it.

I absolutely love the refrigerator. It™€™s wonderful! However, the way they wrap it with plastic makes it nearly impossible. Well, it makes it impossible to clearly clear the plastic because they put the plastic on and then add the finishing pieces which makes it unbelievably difficult to remove all the plastic around the edges.

Looks good in my kitchen. Not as big as my last refrigerator but still roomy enough to hold all my groceries. I've only had it for about 3 weeks now and the only complaint I have is that the ice maker is to small. I had to order the optional ice maker for the freezer below, which took up valuable freezer space. And the ice/water dispenser has lettering that is hard to see during the day and with the dispenser light on.

The size generally has ample room for groceries & some dishes in containers/pots for leftovers. Only disappointment is when dispensing water it doesn™€™t have a display for volume. Prior same model refrigerator showed number of ounces dispensed in a container. Freezer section is large with an extra drawer for smaller items (I use it for butter, cream cheese, flours, etc. separately from meats & vegetable bags. Temps seem adequate. Don™€™t know how to determine energy use solely from this appliance.

The refrigerator is spacious, works well, but is the noisiest refrigerator we have owned. The "pulls" for the drawers are on the bottom and it is sometimes awkward to have to reach under the drawer in order to open it. It would be much better if the pull was at the top of the drawer. There also is not a shelf for butter/cheese in the door. Our prior refrigerators (3 or 4) all had this built in shelf with a hatch-type door for the butter built into the upper part of the door. I really miss this feature. We have the french door model and you have to really push hard to close the doors, I hope that this because of the newness of the unit and the doors will close easily as we use them. The last issue was the color choices for the frig. We wanted black. Plain old fashioned black. All our appliances are plain old fashioned black. I spent thousands of dollars on remodeling my kitchen and it is beautiful. Now the frig sticks out because of the color. Maybe I will win the sweepstakes and can replace with slate black appliances. I know, I know, first world problems....

Love this fridge - roomy configuration, easy to see items inside. Cooling is very easy to adjust. The fingerprint-proof finish is beautiful. My only complaint is that the ice make side is loud and takes effort to pull, as does the freezer. They are not smooth to open as other colors in the same model on display were at the shop.

I™€™ve had this refrigerator less than 72 hours and already regret my purchase. After over 24 hours, I turned the temperature down and it still won™€™t cool below 40°. I™€™m afraid to fill the refrigerator because I don™€™t want to waste food. The door to the ice maker freezes shut and it™€™s hard to open. All the doors are hard to shut. I don™€™t know whose idea it was to put the protective film underneath the seal because you can™€™t get it out. I bought this refrigerator from Home Depot but it™€™s past the 48 hours so now I have a nonworking refrigerator after waiting six weeks to get it. A full refund would be nice because this is ridiculous!!

This refrigerator replaced a french door Samsung. Absolutely love the look of this one. Accessibility to the ice maker is great for when the ice gets stuck and doesn't fall, which only happens when we don't use the ice maker for awhile. The energy saving lighting and shelf capacity is perfect for us. My only complaint is the water pressure. Getting a glass of water takes a bit too long for my impatient husband.

I really like the fridge. It's got a lot of room inside. I can fit everything in the fridge and freezer that were in my two fridges! What a savings in the long run. Only issue I have is, the water and ice from the dispenser, taste like the carbon filter. I have dumped several buckets of ice and ran several gallons of water. Still has that horrible taste. I'm about to take the filter out to see if it will work without it.

We just received our refrigerator and the freezer door is cracked, there is a huge dent on the left side and a scratch on the left panel. We had to buy another GE because we purchased the Cafe line of appliances in Black slate 6 years ago. We already had to replace the microwave and the refrigerator went in 6 years. Then we get this junk delivered to our house. After this I will NEVER purchase a GE product again

Awesome Refrigerator. Solid, Quiet and Everything I expected for a GE Product. I grew up using GE Products and I am glad to see that they still kept their quality. Way to go GE for keeping your integrity.

Avoid at all Costs!

The freezer works great! The refrigerator won™€™t go below 40 degrees!! Set to 34, doesn™€™t get cold! Had over 18 visits by warranty company, on the last one GE said we are loading our fridge wrong! My garage fridge has no problem. This fridge is junk! I™€™m losing food to spoilage. Taking everything thing out and getting service back out, so GE can try and say that an empty fridge is loaded too much.
