Noisy, known defects with this model

I was recommended this fridge by a salesperson at a local appliance shop as a basic, no-frills fridge which was all I needed. Unfortunately, I've found this fridge to be extremely noisy, making load groaning and wailing noises while running.
In a small, open floor plan home like my own, it can be heard throughout the house, and is very annoying when eating dinner or watching TV near the kitchen. It's loud enough that I've had guests comment on the noise and ask if the fridge is supposed to be making noises like that!
A GE technician came out to listen to the noise and claimed it is normal for these fridges, and blamed it on the new more energy-efficient refrigerant being used.
Additionally, the technician found that there is a known defect with this model where the evaporator fan can fail prematurely and needs to be replaced with a new fan design. Trying to resolve this has taken 3 technician visits so far, with no resolution. Initially the wrong part was delivered, so the technician reordered the part. When the next technician arrived to install the correct part, he refused to do the work because GE requires all repairs to be made at once, despite him already being here standing in front of the fridge with the correct part in hand. Which leads to another issue..
The fridge was delivered with a dent on the door. The retailer ordered a replacement door to be shipped out, however it arrived damaged, so the GE technician ordered yet another replacement door, but the door is now on backorder and it is unknown when it will actually arrive. But more importantly, as mentioned before, the GE technician refuses to do any other part replacements on the fridge until he can also replace the door, even though the faulty evaporator fan is much more important to the operation of the fridge than a dented door! So I now have the evaporator fan part sitting in my basement waiting on another door to be shipped out and another technician visit in hopes that the parts are all correct and arrive undamaged.

I had purchased another brand that gave me terrible problems. Since had it replaced with this beauty. It's quiet, keeps the required temperatures consistently and it's nice to look at. So happy with it so far!

Good but cant get a missing door part

Basicaly a nice fridge but cant get a small plastic door handle missing button plug.
Parts dept. Says the part is not listed on door diagram. Just the screw that holds handle. When moving handle to other side of door its the screw hole cover button plug.
One missing and GE cant send one. Not on door diagram so no part number.
Must be a Hier Chinese company thing. Lack of attention to detail.

Door doesn't close good. Freezer is small. Dont care for handles.. No drawer for delivery items otherwise solid fridge for price.

It was really easy to put together. This refrigerator is out in a roof covered part of our yard. It looks beautiful with its chrome accents. Now I have bragging rights of having 2 refrigerators.

So far, I am enjoying this refrigerator/freezer. It has everything that I need. I needed to buy a new refrigerator asap and this was available. I didn't have a good experience with one with a bottom freezer so this was perfect.

Nice looking refridgerator. Nice price for this. The size is just right for the space I needed. For me not too big or too small.
Love the stainless color. Inside lighting is real good.
It's a very new item on the GE market but time will tell.
History says should be good and I'm pleased with my choice.
I have purchased other GE appliances and good for me.
