I love GE products. Almost all my appliances are GE brand. I™€™ve had them in my homes and they are built to last. I wish it had an icemaker or filtered water but I don™€™t have the water hook up necessary for a model like that.

This is a basic refrigerator with no complications to break later. The shelves and drawers are nice and an upgrade from wire racks. Hopefully this will last in our basement as an auxiliary refrigerator for a long time. I will say the first unit we received did not work straight out of delivery. The second unit has worked without complaint. This is more a testament to the appliance store we bought from than general electric/haier, But the fact remains, my problem was solved.

We need to replace our existing GE refrigerator quickly because it was dying, and while not the model or features we wanted we purchased this one because it was in-stock. Product fit-and-finish not up to GE's standard. Doors (slightly) misaligned, small dent and a few scrapes in the finish on one of the doors. On the positive side it is performing well.
